So what is a niche and how do you find a profitable niche?
A niche is a small section of a very large market it is simply a specific area within a market where you intend to make money online. You can spend your entire affiliate marketing career in one niche. As an online affiliate marketer it will become your job to find a profitable niche and then build a one-page website with an opt- in box for a product in that niche....

How to find a profitable niche is often gone about in the wrong manner.
So many marketers make the mistake of trying to find a product to sell, rather than being familiar with their niche and then finding products to sell in that niche.
First you find a profitable niche where people are already spending money and then you look for product to sell in that niche. Making money online is all about finding a profitable niche. In this article I will explain how to finding a profitable niche. As soon as we find a profitable niche that we want to pursue, the very next thing we’re going to do is build a one-page website for a product in that niche.
Building a One Page Website:
We build a one-page website so we can start building a list in that niche. As I’ve mentioned in many other articles your first priority should always be to build your list. Many affiliate products come with a one-page sales letters that you can modify with an-opt in box to help create your list. After you find a profitable niche, you market your one-page website with your opt-in box and send your prospects to the affiliate after they opt-in.
Let’s recap we find a profitable niche we create a one-page website to build a list, and then any time in the future we can promote related products to our list. We know the type of products the people on our list are interested in. You label that list accordingly so you can market to the people on your list in the future with related products or services.

In each market there are hundreds of niches. I suggest you write each one of these three markets on a separate piece of paper and list all the subcategories you can think of under each market.

EARN MORE MONEY WITH YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Your income is directly tied to your environment. Take a pause. Look around you right now. Also, quickly jot down the 5 people you spend the most time with. The space you create for yourself is the mirror to your income and business potential. One of my Soul Business Sisters, Tamra, says that she loves helping people create a space that is a reflection of their soul. Often, we do that naturally. Who and what is around us is a pretty good indication of what's going on inside of us and how we value ourselves...
Our income, our environment, and our business are all based in choices. You can turn your environment, and thus your income, around just as quickly as you turn a light switch on or off. I have often found that when I feel a bit stuck in marketing or business growth, I really need to be working on my surroundings. I need to be up-leveling. And yes, anytime we move ourselves into more abundance, joy, and beauty, we must leave something behind. We always exchange something of a lower nature for a higher nature. So, maybe you don't need to be marketing this week. Maybe you need to be expanding the potential of the space and people around you. Try these quick tips:

1) Expand your reach. We are the average of the 5 people we spend the most time with. I know this can be difficult. We have best friends and family and loved ones, but the time spent with those NOT stretching you keeps you stuck. You may need to let some people go or just bring more abundant, juicy, positive people into your life. When you up-level the people around you, your income and joy will up-level. Remember the Rule of 5.

2) Smell the Roses. We often forget the smell sense and how it can have a massive effect on our mood and energy. I love Young Living Essential Oils and I can take my mind, motivation, and mojo anywhere fast by shifting the sense of smell. My favorites are Lavender, Peace and Calming, Envision, and Peppermint. Remember everything we breathe, taste, touch, or see effects our earnings.

3) See the Roses. Flowers are luxurious and they can change the mood of any space...maybe you want fresh flowers on your desk or you position your office so that you can see flowers or trees outside. Either way- your confidence is raised when you see beauty because you feel beautiful. Is your office and work space beautiful?

4) Clear out the clutter. Money is energy and it must have space to travel. Some ways it does NOT travel well: through stacks of paper, piles of clothes, or disorganized and unused files. Find huge chunks of open space and air for all the good stuff to come in. And no excuses...if this simple thought overwhelms you or scares the heck out of you, contact a personal organizer.

5) First Class. Travel first class. Air, hotel, meals. I know you might say, "THAT is not where I can spend my money right now" and believe me, I know what you mean...I thought that was a luxury reserved for millionaires and billionaires, but I discovered that it actually doesn't cost THAT much more and it has changed my life. I can travel with ease and no matter where I go, my surroundings remain abundant and exciting. When you up-level, your income up-levels every time.

Your environment reflects your income. What is yours saying? Success is all about choices. So simply choose differently for today.

MAKE MONEY ONLINE

You've worked hard on a certain marketing strategy for months. You read every eBook you could get your hands on, you devoted time each day to implement the methods advised by every guru known to mankind - yet it's just draining more from you than it's giving back...

Maybe a few sales have trickled in and maybe they haven't. You have to know when to call it quits and release yourself from the confinement of a marketing blueprint that's going nowhere and certainly not helping you achieve financial security.

That doesn't mean you have to quit making money online altogether. What good is a six figure salary if you can't turn your back on your business for a split second to go off and spend some of it on the things you've always wanted to do with your loved ones? You have to refuel your motivation just as you fuel up your car each week or feed your body the nutrients it needs to survive. If your motivation disappears from your online efforts, it will be akin to being chained to a 9-5 corporate job where you have no flexibility, no opportunities, and no pleasure.

In various forums, you'll often see fed up marketers claiming they "have to start over." What they don't realize is that a fresh start gives you a grand opportunity to take everything you've learned to date (what works and what doesn't), and set sail toward a new horizon that could offer a healthy balance of professional and personal pursuits. Don't feel as if making a fresh start is a failure - you're actually opening new doors when you give yourself the option to begin a new. HOW TO MAKE MONEY FROM PASSION ?

To make money online many people jump right in before they are properly prepared. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don't just jump right in unprepared...
The same applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who'd have you believe it's a "Walk in the Park" and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

And I'll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, "what comes first the chicken or the egg"? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don't think many of us do either.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion.

I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I'm concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.

Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.

It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won't attempt to do the work you are being taught.

Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won't stumble.

You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!

Your research should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don't find it move on, You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet "guru" does that, don't be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services.

Note: By the way it's your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.

Remember, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don't first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

Not being Passionate about a company and products and services that has market proof that it will sell is a pitfall you simply must avoid.
